Need to save a bonded yoke from a CRT? What you want to use is a 2/10amp car battery charger. You want the terminals across the horizontal winding. Heat it up for about 8/10 mins on 2amp... if its not enough heat kick it to 10amp and it will be ready to free up from the bonding very shortly after. So far I have not destroyed / cooked any windings! The battery charger MUST NOT have a auto shuttoff / protection.
