Welcome back mortals to another retro game series on my YouTube channel.

Today we're going back to the PlayStation 1 and revisiting Raccoon City and the Spencer Mansion specifically in the original Resident Evil.

Previously I did a series for Resident Evil but that was the directors cut dual shock version. I'm not a fan of that version so more in likely I won't be playing that version again. I'd rather just play the original version but who knows? Maybe I'll try that dual shock director's cut version again one day. Even though the music is cheesy and weird as my brother Champa.

I did previously play as Jill Valentine in that directors cut dual shock retro game series but Jill is the goat and my personal favorite 😎 so of course any retro resident evil game that I can play...she will always be my top choice to play as 😉.

In that previous series for the directors cut dual shock version, I intentionally got the bad ending to show you mortals what that is like. But this time I'm playing a bit more serious and I will be trying to get the best ending this time for this game series.

For those wondering, yes I do plan on completing Chris Redfield's route with this game in the future too. But for now I'm sticking with my # 1 raccoon city homegirl Ms Jill " The Thrill " Valentine 😏.

For those new to these games, it's a basic horror survival game. Go around and explore a spooky area with a lot of going back & forth like a Metroidvania game all while conserving ammo and watching your health in the hopes of surviving until the end. But don't forget to explore every area possible to unlock weapons and key items needed for puzzles and to actually aid you in forward progress.

For anymore information beyond that, go play the game yourself because I'm not interested in spoiling things for you newbies at the moment.

But that's enough talk. It's time to start this game so let's get right into it and take down Umbrella again.

In this episode, I start the game and get that old school retro cheesy but cool Black & White intro FMV movie that sets the stage and the characters.
