Resident Evil 4 (2005), Bolt Action Rifle Only - (Part 01) - One Shot, One Kill
7Welcome to my full playthrough of Resident Evil 4 (2005) using only the bolt-action rifle! Be sure to check the full description for anything related to the video that you might want to know.
This is being played on the Ultimate HD Edition version on Steam with several mods installed, namely the HD Project, re4tweaks and the 4GB patch.
The bolt action rifle is already my rifle of choice in this game but under normal circumstances, I would use it alongside an assortment of a few other weapons as well as keep it upgraded so it keeps pace with them, but I decided to try my hand at playing through the entire game using only a vanilla rifle. Of course, it isn’t possible or at the very least, feasible to win every encounter in the game using that and nothing else so I am allowing myself to bend the rules if I feel that it’s necessary, such as using the load point checkpoint trick, grenades, upgrades and as a last resort, a backup weapon.

Upon editing this, I noticed that I was repeating myself with the talking points I went over during this video. This may have been a side effect of some medication I was taking an increased dosage of right before recording as well as me devoting more attention to playing the game rather than commentating.
In addition, I mentioned during this video that I had fixed an issue with my microphone applying a noise suppressor, but it seems that disabling this has only mostly fixed it. Worse yet, due to how I recorded this series of videos after disabling this but before a huge batch all at once, it will be in the next few dozen videos with this being the second one published with this problem. Apologies if these things are frustrating at all. I was critically low on live commentated footage, recorded a ton of these consecutively and should have checked the audio on the first few recordings rather than going full speed ahead and just hoping all was good.
