Ethan und Mia sind wieder glücklich als Eheleute vereint. Drei Jahre nach den Vorkommnissen aus Teil 7 haben sie nun auch Nachwuchs und sind nach Europa gezogen, um die Ereignisse in Louisiana zu vergessen.

Bis sie eines Abends doch davon wieder eingeholt werden. Ethan findet sich in einem merkwürdigen Dorf wieder und tut alles, um sein Baby zu finden.
