If your windows 7 machine keeps crashing to a BSOD and showing the error code tcpip.sys this is usually because of one of two issues.

Issue 1 - Issue with the network device driver. Update the device driver in your system and reboot

Issue 2 - The tcpip.sys file has become corrupt, run a chkdsk
