Alien Soldier is a side-scrolling run and gun game developed by Treasure and published by Sega in 1995 for the MegaDrive and later the Virtual Console for the Wii. The game runs on the powerful Proprietary engine. Also the game was released in Japan and Europe only not the North America but it was playable in North America on the Sega Channel cable service which is like the 90's version of Xbox live and PSN. Now alien soldier's soundtrack is very excellent it was composed by Norio Hanzawa which he was best known for the Gunstar Heroes soundtrack and the Gunstar Super Heroes soundtrack. Now the game was later on released in the North America for the Wii's virtual console in 2007. In 2010 the game was listed in Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2010 under the category "Most boss battles in a run and gun game". Overall if you love other run and gun games this is the one i highly reccomend but my god it's hard.
