Retron 3 console unboxing review. The retron 3 is a retro console that plays NES,SNES, and Sega Genesis games. I own a nintendo entertainment system and a super nintendo, but my nes broke, and I found the Retron 3 which plays all three console games for less than a used nintendo. It looks pretty cool and it is a pretty sturdy third party console. I have been playing some nintendo and super nintendo games, and I plan on buying some sega genesis games to play on my Retron 3 console. So far I am happy with this console and it has been fun to play some old game titles. I am currently playing Dragon Warrior. I can't wait to play some altered beast and maybe some Battletoads.
