RIDGES IN FINGERNAILS? YOUR NAILS MAY BE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING
80Are your fingernails and toenails trying to tell you something? I am always paying attention to changes. As you get older, your body changes, your skin changes, and your nails change. They change by color, texture, and shape. They can become fragile and brittle. One of the changes that I noticed was that I started to develop ridges in my nails. Not all of my nails, but especially my thumbnails. The ridges were more profound than any other nails. So much so that I decided to inquire about them. Ridges do indeed matter. My nail ridges are vertical, which mean they run from the cuticle to the tip of my fingernail. You can also have horizontal nail ridges. If that’s something that you’ve noticed, find out more.
