Rimworld is a game about storytelling and survival. Though the graphics are simple, the gameplay is very complex, and the game mechanics run deep. In Rimworld alpha 16, the version we're playing here, new features include a full world instead of a square map, and a whole new travel system that will allow players to move around a spherical map. to visit other colonies as well! Now we can be the raiders if we want to be!
Our story in Rimworld follows a man named Charlie (of course) who has found himself stranded on a world in the outer rims of space after saying the wrong thing to the wrong people on the pirate ship he was a member of. Surviving the landing with only the two first aid kits that come on-board the standard escape ship, he must build up his shelter, defend his new base, research technologies and navigate the complex social relationships with other factions. It'll be a really cool ride! :)
