A story idea that's been rolling around in my head for far too long. Maybe I can expand upon it as a creative series idea or maybe it won't catch on and I can forget about it like so many other attempts; let me know if this interests you.

Transcript:
My name is Cypher Corsair.
My alias in my organization is ECHOTRACER.
A group of us were assembled to be a team to take on the ultimate task: stop the Iconoclast from annihilating the online world we loved.
We were preparing for this day. We were trusted to be ready to take on the Iconoclast and bring them to justice.
My team was obliterated through sheer incompetence or just bad timing.
Three members were found to be total frauds who disclosed private information trusted specifically for this mission. Termination for violating explicit guidelines. What were they thinking?
The fourth came down with crippling illness. For the sake of integrity, they would be sidelined until condition improved, but they would be out for this mission completely.
I am left to take on the Iconoclast by myself.
My only arsenal is my ability to recognize familiar voices, and I have dedicated my life to making as many voices as familiar to me as possible, no matter what form someone takes.
I have learned more than I ever needed to know, more than I should ever have use for, because of others doing half of the work for me.
It's so easy, even hidden behind spoilers and hints, to know to whom they are referring with their discussions of who used to be whom. My curiosity brings me to their doorstep on social media; I just have to know.
The Iconoclast left behind one video of their voice, and it is in a dark corner that is rarely visited. I must rewatch until their voice is fully committed to my memory.
We don't know for sure what their goal truly is, as the warning of destruction came from second hand sources. The primary goal was for us to just find them and be sure that it is them.
On this mission alone, I just want to know who they are, truly. Maybe, the truth that has been hidden amongst the shadows can finally come to light.
What is the nature of the Rise of the Iconoclast?
