Ritual of the Night 1st Time Run | Part 1 - Miriam, Mi Amor
3We're kicking off the month of May-troidvania a little early with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a metroidvania game designed by Koji Igarashi, IGA, creator of such classic Castlevania games as Symphony of the Night, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, and several others, but I'm mostly familiar with those three. Metroidvania is one of my favorite game genres, though I tend to avoid them because they eat my brain, badly. This is my first time at this game, so hopefully it goes well without derping out too badly. I'm a mapper, I like to explore and find all of the secret stuff and fulfill whatever completion metric seems appropriate, which in IGA-vania games is typically the map. Come along as we take the heroic Miriam to confront the evil Gebel in a showdown of the last surviving Shardbinders.
