Rob's Retro Rambles - Netherworld (C64)
12Not played Netherworld before as never saw it for sale anywhere, but was always curious about it as graphics from it seemed to crop up in so many other places. And now I've finally got a copy of it, I can see what all the fuss was about.
Yes, I could've loaded it up on an emulator but where's there fun in that? To be honest, it's one I forgot to look up when scrolling through reams and reams of image files and it took me getting a physical copy to remind me to play it.
So, as usual, loaded from original media onto real hardware and played for the first time by me using my trusty Quickshot 2 Turbo Joystick, Mr Clicky.
(Oh yeah, and the programmer, Jukka Tapanimäki? Whose name I wasn't sure where I'd seen before? He only went and made Zamzara, didn't he? One of my favourite budget titles ever...)
