Rock Of Ages 2 - Obstacle Course: Lviv
0Hello Ghouls, Ghosts and Themlins,
This video covers the Obstacle Course level for Lviv on normal difficulty. This map is not as difficult as it may seem at first. Beware of the moving Baba Yaga house in the beginning, unless you want to get smashed. (We're not here to kink shame.) There really isn't much threat of falling off the course, until you reach the ice at the end of the map. If you stay too long on the thin ice, it will give way and drop your boulder into the water. An easy way to avoid this is to use a lighter boulder, like the Balloon and Cow boulders. Doing so also allows you to take advantage of a shortcut towards the middle.
There is a part of the map that veers off suddenly to the right in a giant "I" shape. You can avoid this by simply gliding over the large tree trunk at the beginning of the "I" shape, skipping that part of the course completely. Having a light boulder also helps you to glide over any defenses in the way so while heavier boulders will have to contend with the absurd amount of Anvil Bulls littered across the map, of which there are TOO DAMN MANY, a Cow boulder can simply float all their troubles away! Also, who DOESN'T WANT TO BE A LITERAL FLOATING COW?? WE DO!!

We, obviously, took the Cow and Balloon boulders to do all the gliding possible! Also, getting PyroTwirler to NOT take the Tar boulder was a feat in and of itself.
