Let's try Rogue Legacy, and see if it's something you would like to try yourself or see the whole playthrough.

Metroidvania style game with the revolutionary idea in roguelike genre where the first iteration made changes to develop new style and that is today know as Roguelite genre. The difference is that in this game you trying to get far as possible and possibly finish the game however in case you die you can spend resources to develop your castle which gives you an advantage in the next attempt.
