I really am tempted to make another video on the subject, but in case I don't, there are a few other things I want to mention.

1. Running Silent. You can set any device you own to run silent, which means its icon does not show up automatically in VR, but it takes extra processing power to do this. A hacker has to do a Matrix Perception action to find it. Obviously, most security teams are going to have all their shit running silent.

2. Slaving. Most people aren't going to spend a great deal of money to get a ridiculously secure commlink, so what they do is slave it to the decker's cyberdeck, so any hacking attempts have to go through the decker and his firewall first. Makes sense.

3. Noise. A lot of things can cause noise, which affect the Decker's ability to hack. It's an annoyingly mathy subject, but the main point of it is so that the decker has to be within 100 meters of what he's trying to hack. You can be farther away, but suffer penalties. Basically prevents the decker from sitting at home for every mission.
