I always wanted to do a rolepay video of dwarf fortress a bit like Kruggsmash does. So here is my first attempt: Medtoblal, a humble group of alpaca lovers embarking on a soft and supple journey into becoming a wooly empire!

As a humble group of alpaca farmers, we ventured out from our mountain home to establish a new settlement. After scouting the area, we came across a lovely island, situated beyond a forest that was said to be home to elves.

Welcome to Medtoblal, BlockadedBlanket.

Our new home.

We swiftly established our campsite, cutting down trees and constructing a temporary enclosure for our animals. Although a fully fortified pen would have to be postponed, we allowed our animals to graze in the open field with a vigilant dwarf keeping watch for potential predators.

As we embarked on building our modest abodes, the first order of business was to create a storage facility to house all the equipment we brought on our journey. Following that, we constructed a tavern and kitchen, which many believe are essential components for a contented dwarf community.

We prepared a designated area for our plump helmet farms, ensuring a bountiful supply of homemade wine that would leave outsiders envious.

As we were setting up new tables in the tavern, we were greeted by some newcomers who brought happiness to our establishment - a single father and his eight children. We quickly realized that additional tables would be required to accommodate everyone. With our kitchen and distillery now fully operational, we were able to provide fresh patties and wine to fuel our growing operations.

With the arrival of early autumn came the caravan from the mountain homes. Our initial trade was a copper toy hammer in exchange for three barrels of wine. While the fairness of the trade remains uncertain, the children of the fortress are delighted with the outcome.

On the 12th of Sandstone, a group of dwarves joined our home and brought with them valuable expertise to assist in our humble enterprise.

Our miner, Dishmab, crafted our first artifact, Thimshuralmosh, on the 6th of Timber. This bituminous coal millstone is a masterpiece of craftsdwarfship, adorned with limonite rings and menacing spikes made of bituminous coal. The item features an image of radiant cut gems in iron.

In the midst of winter, we discovered that the rough stone floors of the tavern were no longer sufficient. Like the fleece of our alpacas, we decided to make the floors soft and polished.

We noticed our food and drink storage in the kitchens was getting too full, so we decided to expand them.

It's hard to believe that a whole year has flown by already, and our halls are now filled with joy and good fortune. Our industry is thriving, and we've relocated our alpacas to a new, secure pen where they've even had their first baby! The only thing left on our to-do list is to construct some private bedrooms. Currently, we have a dormitory near the tavern, but adding some personal space would be a great enhancement in the near future.

We are excited for the upcoming year, filled with the hope of abundant alpaca wool and cheese!
