RTX 4080 vs RTX 3080 vs RX 6900 XT | Best GPU to buy in 2023?

Today we're going to test one of the newest GPUs from Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 4080 which costs about $1300 at the time of posting, although Nvidia announced a much cheaper price.

We will put it against the older generation RTX 3080 10GB which costs about 800$ depending on the model and the RX 6900 XT, which has about the same price maybe 100$ less than an RTX 3080 10GB version.
Does it worth spending over 50% more to buy the RTX 4080? Lets find out and see if it is indeed the best buy for gaming in 2023.
