While the Rushdown Revolt alpha is certainly rough around the edges, it offers a unique "spark" system that allows a lot of variety to your combo opportunities.

I ran into a few odd bugs, such as a part of the fourth tutorial that cannot be completed and issues with online matchmaking (getting stuck on 100% or entering into an empty match). The glitches are forgivable though, since it is an early alpha meant to iron out exactly those.

Personally, I think the spark system is a bit too complex/hectic for me to enjoy, but I do find it fun at times. I think part of my struggle with it was due to the floaty physics, but that is something that I would get used to with practice. 6/10
