Russia is making increasing use of glide bombs as it struggles to replenish its supply of precision-guided weapons.

Glide bombs are standard air-launched weapons which have been retro-fitted with a guidance system and pop-out wings.

Russia has also announced it is starting production of a new cluster glide bomb.
