The Russo brothers serve as producers on Mosul, a movie based on a New Yorker essay by Luke Mogelson covering the situation in war-torn Mosul. The film puts the spotlight on a Ninevah SWAT team lead by Suhail Dabbach as Major Jasem as they fight to end the bloodshed in their homeland.

With Mosul celebrating its North American Premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo and executive producer Mohamed Al-Daradji swung by the Collider Lounge to talk about their experience making a film that, as Al-Daradji put it, made history in American cinema.
