What Is Rust And How Do You Play It?

A few extra tips;
- Trust absolutely no one. Everyone is scheming to make gains.
- Never make a key for a keylock. Open and close doors for your friends until you can make a codelock.
- Try to have enough materials to upgrade your whole base passed twig before building.
- Upgrade foundations first.
- Split ore into 3 stacks in furnaces to smelt faster. (use Shift+middle mouse to split 1/3 of a stack. Use middle mouse to split 1/2 stack.)
- Look up how to make an airlock for your base.
- Be sure the soft side of your walls are not facing outwards as they can be broken down easier with melee.
- As you make your way inland craft/place bags down so you dont have to keep spawning at the beach.
- DO NOT stand still while looting. Always be moving
- Take out your guns. You will never get any better if you always leave your best gear in boxes. Everything will disappear eventually so you might as well use it and learn.
- New players may want to build closer to Outpost for easier recycling/resource gathering via the shops.
- Have fun. You are 100% going to die. You are 100% going to die while you have good stuff on you. At the end of the day its a game. Sure it can be annoying but dont let it discourage you from playing this wonderful game.
