Saiyūki World (西遊記ワールド, lit. "Journey to the West World") is a game developed by Westone and published by Jaleco for Nintendo on 1988 in Japan. The game is based on Wonder Boy in Monster Land, but modified with content from the Chinese novel Journey to the West.
Did you ever wanted to play "Wonderboy in Monsterland" on Master System or "Bikkuriman World" for the PC engine but only have a Nintendo/Famicom? Jaleco and NMK have you sorted with "Saiyuuki World", a good clone of the previously mentioned games with a coat of "Journey to the West" ambiance.
