Samsung Galaxy SII Walk Through at MWC 2011
http://www.netbooknews.com Along side numerous tablets Samsung has released a new phone called the Samsung Galaxy SII. At a mere 8.49mm from front to back it's a real Posh Spice of a phone, so slender it even out-diets the iPhone 4. It's light too, at 116g, although the down side to this is it feels a little plasticky and cheap. Still, Galaxy S felt even cheaper and sales weren't affected very much because of it, so even though we wished they didn't cheap out overall we don't think it is going to matter too much.
But the new SII isn't all about looks, the screen is pretty impressive too. Sporting an improved version of Samsung's Super AMOLED technology -- Super AMOLED Plus -- it measures 4.3in from corner to corner and has a eye-poppingly detailed resolution of 1,280 x 800.
Under the hood there are more headlines, with a "Samsung Dual Core Application processor" powering Android 2.3 along at a speed Usain Bolt would be proud of, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera at the rear with an LED flash capable of shooting Full HD (1080p) and a 2-megapixel one at the front.
