567Samsung's much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 2 has finally fully launched and here's the complete specs, best new features and what's changed vs the original bendy phone. Check out the Flex Mode, Samsung's impressive camera features and all of the upgrades for the Z Fold 2, which is hitting the UK later this month.
The asking price appears to be £1799 here in Blighty and $1999 in the US. Time to sell some of your least favourite offspring to raise the funds.
This foldable smartphone boasts several improvements for 2020, versus the old model. The biggest for me is that enlarged cover screen, which is now actually usable for apps. Flip the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 open and you'll switch automatically to that bigger interior display, now with Infinity O camera cutout.
You've got five camera lenses to work with including a triple setup on the back of the phone. Samsung has added lots of useful features, so you can take selfies with the rear lenses or give your subject a mirror view.
That hinge has also been improved with the same sweeper tech as the Galaxy Z Flip. So hopefully the Fold 2 will stand the test of time, if you can afford to grab one for yourself. That said, the Exynos chipset and 4500mAh battery may mean you're running dry before bedtime each day. Stay tuned for my full review to see how it holds up.
