+ Well written dialogue, sometimes humerous, other times very grim
+ All the graphics are in ASCII art, or essentially drawn with keyboard characters which is pretty amazing!
+ The combat is surprisingly engaging, and forces you to react when enemies charge up or inflict a status ailment on you.
+ You can upgrade stats, perks, skills, along with finding interesting loot like weapons and armor
+ A pretty good fantasy story filled with interesting questlines
- This is a personal opinion, but the text-art is a bit of a turn-off to me, and since there's little to no animation (especially in combat) I could not help but feel a tad disappointed.
- Although there's a pretty in depth character creation with various classes, skills, etc. each character seems to play the same way with very little variation
- The combat is pretty confusing, especially for new players considering a lot of things happen during a turn that takes place within a second because there's no animation or any other indication besides some new text. At one point I died and didn't even realize my HP was low because I didn't know which health bar was which.
