Scientists Recreate Dodo Bird with Lasers
212The dodo bird has been extinct for around 3 centuries, in no small part because of humans. Sorry, dodos. We've only had drawings and composite skeletons to work with for the most part, except for one skeleton from a private collector. Using 3D laser scanning, scientists were able to get a clearer view of what the dodo looked like, and un-surprisingly, our general perception was wrong! What was the dodo really like?
