While there are still some iconic set pieces from the movie, like the snowball fight (although in an admittedly confusing way), the original material of the game is bizarre to say the least. This includes the Beast taking a trip to the library in order to find a book to give as a gift to Belle, which wouldn't be so much of a problem if it wasn't for the humongous moving books and the unfair enemy placement.
At least in this version Gaston gets defeated in a puff.
