The continent of Elwes was formed by the Light Elf and Dark Elf after their many conflicts, but the balance of the land is about to be broken by a full scale war. The Abyss Empire, led by Emperor Abyss III, seeks to conquer the continent in the name of "peace." At the same time, the champion of one of the empire's villages, Ire, joins Byin and Leed in their quest to seal the Dark Elf and restore balance, but naively forgets to consider that this means getting involved in Abyss's war.
Since the SRPG genre isn't my forte, don't expect stellar gameplay. I'll be surprised if I actually manage to beat this game on Hard mode.

You'll be taken to a tavern that you can walk around in, like a normal RPG. In the English version, you can't give the catnip to the cat, which means no bonus stage to take advantage of. This really sucks, since I feel like these stages would really help in rebalancing my party's levels.
Chapter 6: The Magi
This map contains a lot of zombies, which means it's a good opportunity for Leed and Jing to gain EXP and get their promotion. However, indoor tiles penalize cavalry movement, so Byin is probably not going to be able to do much aside from going outside and attempting to choke off the doorways. Whatever you do, don't advance too far on the northwest side, or an event will spawn before you're truly ready for it.
There's a dagger in the middle of a pond. You can either get troop defense from it or get a rare weapon. The weapon is actually preferable because troop defense doesn't carry over upon class promotion. Meanwhile, there's a glyph in the SW room that has a magic crystal.
Once you've secured the crystal room, have someone go to the northwest section to trigger the event, which causes the second light fragment, Snow, to join the party. A yellow NPC, Crafter, will also show up to rescue you, but try not to let him see too much action, since he can steal your EXP. Although I took a lot of turns, I managed to get everyone promoted to their second class, including Snow. Though I also had to redo the chapter offscreen to get the Dragon Scale Dagger instead of the troop defense bonus.
