6Bads Dubs is a Geek Show exclusive series in which we take a look at Asian movies (Japan, Korea, China, etc), in a way which just isn't possible on any other of our shows or podcasts.
In this video we're looking at ten movies from Seijun Suzuki's Nikkatsu days (that are now available through two Arrow Video box sets), that make up a good chunk of his early works. These films are interesting in many ways, and highlight the talent and adaptability of a director who would become one of the most idiosyncratic and singular voices from Japan, even though he wasn't as appreciated in his home country as he was overseas.
