Setting 5E Challenge Rating for Player Character Classes| GM 911
This one of the hard GM 911s we've had to do. Heck we had to consult the DMG, Monster Manual, and PHB to help this DM out. One of the biggest challenge with 5th edition DUngeons and Dragons challenge rating systems is it doesn't treat monsters and player characters the same. For all intent and purposes the classes from the players handbook are monsters when use against the players even if their race is human, elf, or even dwarf. There are some NPCs in the back of the monster manual that very closely resemble PC classes, but aren't exactly the same.
