SFC フェーダ Feda: The Emblem of Justice: Last Battle + All 4 Endings
Max Entertainment developed Feda for SNES release back in 1994, and subsequently for SS in 1996. Turn based strategy. Remember playing the game then on Saturn, was such a Sega fan back then. The SNES version is solid, with brilliant music, illustration and smooth animation. Feda has the same illustrator on Shining Force 1 and 2. The most talked about subject on Feda must be the hidden value in alignment. Basically a moral compass for gameplay. Knowing there are 4 endings based on the final alignment (chaos, neutral, law, fedayeen), it can be a chore going for all endings without careful planning. My approach is to get the alignment high as possible, go all the way to the last chapter, take the fedayeen ending first, then grind the alignment value down battle by battle at the center plaza, taking the law and neutral endings along the way. You can grind all the way for chaos ending, but I prefer to start over from the beginning chapters to recruit the Chaos only characters. My favorite has got to be Sonia, sassy. Overall, a little low on difficulty for regular gameplay, challenging only for Fedayeen ending. Love the theme music, for some reason it reminds me of an old Hong Kong blockbuster film 'A Better Tomorrow'. Looking forward to try out the sequel. Rating: 7/10
