Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Friends to the End is the latest DLC from Wayforward. In the DLC, you play as Shantae's friends Bolo, Sky, and Rottytops and must switch between them in order to get through each level. They head into Shantae's mind after Risky Boots uses Uncle Mimic's dynamo to change Shantae into an evil 1/2 genie. Bolo, Rotty, and Sky must go through each level, which are represented as Shantae's memories, in order to find and rescue her. Bolo has a clawshot that allows him to grab onto rings. He can also use a melee attack. Rotty can toss her head through barriers and teleport. She can also hit enemies with her leg and heal the entire team. Sky can use her bird to make platforms or throw them at enemies. Gems are required to level up each character and make their attacks stronger.
