With their latest victory and capture of Saito's last fortress in the Kyoto line of castles. The final stage of the war begins to form. Remnants of the Saito's once famous "castle fleet" make a desperate push to re-conquer the captured port of Kuwana in an effort to stall or as they so desperately hoped would force the Chosokabe back on to a defensive nature, giving them time to regroup.
Tokikuni's army marches towards the castle of Zeze. One of the formidable defenses that was the previously expected path that the Chosokabe would first take. It's design into the surrounding landscape makes any assault an extremely difficult and potentially bloody affair.
