Sid Meier's Pirates! | Intel Kaby Lake (HD 620) | 1400x1050
Who remember this game? This classic game is one of many titles that I am still playing and enjoy a lot.
Released in 1987 for Commodore 64, then ported to other operating systems and in 1994 released for 32bit Windows PC. The latest version was released in 2005 on PC.
Player takes control over a young man that start his pirate career on Caribbean seas. We can plunder, trade, attack other factions, befriend other factions, fight cities, towns, do quests and climb on the ladder to be the most fearsome pirate of the Caribbean.
Beautiful graphics, a dose of humour, great sound and countless hours of great gameplay that what we get in this package.
Resolution in this video is 1400x1050 and that is max resolution you can get without any modifications. The only problem with my laptop I had was lack of numerical keyboard that makes naval battles easier but you can handle this with time. Frame rate isn't sky high as you should expect playing some old title on modern PC but good enough to handle it with max details in max available resolution.
Sometimes playing classic old game on modern computer is a bit tricky but this one had no problem to work on 7th Gen Intel Kaby Lake and 64bit Windows 10 straight from the box (in that times games was distributed on CD and everything was packed in nice big box, including thick manual book).
