Sidequest Can Now Be Installed Directly On A Meta Quest 2 - The Enterprise D Is My Home Environment!
156It was great to see today that Sidequest can now be installed directly to our Quest headsets! Honestly, this has been possible for a while now through the side loading option, but it was not the easiest method for non tech savy folks and quite frankly, it was a bit clunky and the controls didn't work very well.
Well, as of today all of that has now changed... you can fully install SideQuest directly onto your headset via a simple EXE file that is run once from your PC! After that, unless you are loading up one of the DR. Beef ports, no PC should be required to access the Sidequest store.
In this video I give a brief overview of the setup process and a quick look at the in headset interface and also one of the new custom home environments.. Obviously I chose the Enterprise D as mine, but there were several great choices to make so there is a new home for everyone in there and more to come eventually I'm sure!
