Sierra On-Line Christmas Cards - NintendoComplete
Merry Christmas, 2014! This seemed like a nice way to celebrate the holiday with everyone who happens to stumble across my videos, so I hope you enjoy it!
The four digital Christmas cards on display here were festive advertisements released by Sierra On-line, designed to play throughout the day on computers in PC shops to demonstrate the capabilities of the machines (and to shamelessly plug things like Space Quest!).
There are four of these cards, and they were released every two years from 1986 through 1992. Below are the time codes for each:
0:00 1986 "A Computer Christmas" (Tandy 1000TX)
6:25 1988 "Merry Christmas from Sierra On-Line!" (286/12, 640k, SB, EGA)
14:55 1990 "The Seasoned Professional" (386/20, 1MB, SB, VGA)
17:22 1992 "Season's Greetings from Sierra On-line" (386/20, 1MB, SB, VGA)
