In this video, I show some interesting things that can be done using the switches in SMG2. There´s also a switch that
triggers something when you spin.
I used my ideas, as well as some ideas from the SMG2.5 forum.

0:00 - Changing the background and the camera with a ground pound switch
0:27 - Making flowers and other objects appear with a spin
0:31 - Activating the flipping panels with a ground pound switch
0:44 - Freezing the water with a spin
0:53 - Dissipating the fog with a spin
0:55 - Activating a death area with a spin
0:58 - Triggering Cosmic Clones with a spin
1:03 - Activating the pull back area with a spin (the game glitches up)
1:10 - Swapping backgrounds with switch areas
1:17 - Making the snow appear with a lever switch
1:24 - Changing the camera angle with a ? coin
