I beat the game without using buffs or debuffs. To be more specific, I will not be using the following moves: Tarukaja, Makakaja, Sukukaja, Rakukaja, Red Capote, Tarunda, Sukunda, Rakunda, War Cry, Fog Breath, Taunt, Provoke, Debilitate.

Some people considered Dekaja and Dekunda a buff, so I decided not to use them. I will note that I did cast Dekaja in a small segment to quickly deplete my mana for Specter2, but it was just to speed up the process. By no means was it required.

I do the Demon Ending so I don't have to fight Kagatsuchi and Lucifer. Kagatsuchi does four digit damage unconditionally ala Vast Light, and the max hp I can have is 999, so I figure not fighting it is best.

I'm allowing Focus, Tetrakarn, Makarakarn, and I will be abusing Dark Might and Bright Might. I also do some early skill morphs of Counter into Retaliate into Avenge, although it turned out that wasn't really needed.

Early game I'll be grinding to level 28/29 for Thor and Dante respectively. After that I don't really do any excessive grinding until the end game. I beat the game in the early 70s, as I need Life Surge (learned at 71) to reach 900+ hp for Ahriman.

I made some notes for this challenge, mostly fusion routing. You can view them here https://docs.google.com/document/d/19cGJ5rBKr_WMU5BmO-Bwil7po7rTD3E2YsCkmANoafc/edit?usp=sharing

For those curious about True Demon Ending, Kagatsuchi is possible if I have endure on everyone and he is cooperative and only casts Vast Light once. Lucifer would more or less require level 255 demons (max level) with a very specific move set, and an absurd amount of luck not to get hit by High King twice in one turn, High King into Attack, High King into Megidoloan, Attack crits into more Attack crits, etc. etc. Maybe on an emulator one day.
