Introducing... a brand new way to play Smash! The first of many stages inspired by various Smash Basketball ideas, the goal is to dunk, lay-up, or shoot your foes into the cannons on either end of the court (the cannon you use doesn't matter!). Use the respawn cannons above to mix up your return to the stage; there will be more on this in a future video. The recovery cannons below the stage will help you recover and emphasize on-stage gameplay. Lava on the backboards allows for combo set-ups and prevents camping. Traditional ruleset (thus far) is 5 stocks 5 minutes, but if you hate Sudden Death (which is a shame because they're hype on this stage), try standard Melee rules (4 stocks 8 minutes) or 3-stock Smash 4 rules (3 stocks 6 minutes).

Edited by Sam (Backseat Gamer). Footage by Sam and Kam (Game Master). Stage design inspired by Smash Basketball and tweaked over months of gameplay (despite the trailer date, the stage was actually made April/May 2015).

There will be plenty more videos in the future on Ghostball and Ghostball-related stages, so stay tuned!
