In this episode, we start off by searching for some artifacts and after that we take some documents regarding the Gauss Rifle to Cardan. We then head over to Pripyat where we complete a couple of important missions, the other one involving sniping, and then once again try to find our way into an underground laboratory.

It is the third game released in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of computer games, following S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, with the game's narrative and events following the former.
