Solarmax game is an online real-time strategy that is set in space and where the players must position their spaceships in a way that they jump from planet to planet to conquer territory and span new units. Featuring a very simple drag and point mechanics, the players only need to move the fleets for both conquering and defending different planets.

The fighting around each planet is automatic and uses simple arithmetic to determine the winner. Even though it is simple, this Solarmax gameplay shows that it plays really well and definitely keeps the attention of anyone who is into RTS games.

This is one of the reasons why the game got its sequel with Solarmax 2 which is equally if not more popular. Interestingly, Solarmax 2 soundtrack, just like the music from the original is very engaging and has a bit of the Homeworld feel, aiding the game feel substantially.
