Although the familiar is great for scouting, it is bugged in multiplayer. Every time I summons it, we had to reload to resync. Nevertheless, the warlock path is great for scouting as well, as long as there is no torch nearby.

Somehow like in many games, the merchant seems to fare better than the players. They can venture deep without our protection.
