I've been waiting a long time to play this game, and the opening hours did not disappoint at all. I have a lot of respect for Tetsuya Takahashi's work as the head director of some of my favorite games of all time, further elevated by my first time experience with the Xenosaga trilogy this past year. What was originally meant to be Final Fantasy 7, turned into part 5 of a 6 part epic that unfortunately never saw the light of day, Xenogears is a small, yet hefty fraction of Takahashi's vision , and while I know the game isn't exactly "complete", I'm eager to see where the story goes from here.
