It’s been announced that Sonic The Hedgehog will get a sequel, possibly more than one even. Tails is definitely gonna be in them since he was in the first after the end credits. Knuckles and Amy would be likely. I also think Metal Sonic and/or Shadow might work as a secondary antagonist. Those characters (along with Sonic and Eggman of course) seem to be the most popular characters in this franchise. And although Silver, Blaze, etc. probably won’t be on the big screen, it would be awesome if it did happen since they’re pretty popular too. Same with other characters such as Team Chaotix. But yeah, these are my thoughts and I am so excited for the Sonic movie sequel. I think it’ll be even better than the original!
