I was informed on Thursday 26th October 2023 by the two YouTubers @MatthewPlushy and @bcooper1697 about a new patch for this game. This fixes the gravity jump and underwater crashes whilst playing as Tails alone in Sonic 1. I wanted to test it out to see if everything was working as expected. The final result was all successful after testing specific levels in Anniversary and Mirror. The affected levels include the following:

Gravity jumps: Green Hill Act 1, alongside Spring Yard Acts 2 and 3.
Underwater crashes: Labyrinth Acts 1, 2 and 3, plus Scrap Brain Act 3.

This was a casual run with unscripted commentary (messy in places), despite mistakes where mentioned, which proves my general inconsistencies.
I haven't been doing any speed runs lately due to focusing on other games. So much to do in so little time.
This also puts peace of mind to those who missed playing levels as Tails in Sonic 1.
