I watched some gameplay footages about Sonic Racing Crossworlds since i don't have a PS5 and wow.....the game is way too chaotic and not for the good reason.

Every few seconds, the racers would throw a bunch of items at each other and most of them are way too unbalanced to the point they could ruin your race. You could be leading on the final lap but then some random item would hit you from behind and cause you to lose the race.

What makes the previous Sonic racing games fun to play was that you have to rely on skills to dominate. Those games were the reason they became some of the best kart racers outside of the famous Nintendo series.

But here, it really feels like Sega is actively copying Mario Kart's gameplay style from the music, presentation and the items. The game seems to be way too chaotic and you can't focus on the race with everything being thrown at you.I might as well just play Mario Kart instead if i want to experience those kinds of stuff.

I really hope they will fix the issue regarding the item and the gameplay or else i might lose interest with the game.
