Sonic - The Black Spider (Parody)
1This was originally for a project for my German lessons in high school. Obviously, I translated this video in English.
It was our task to take a part of the book "The Black Spider" and do something creative with it. Like, reinterpreting it, or picking a picture and associate it with the excerpt.
I made this video.
Okay, to be honest, this is a remake of the original video, because back when I made the original video, I didn't have a proper recording software.
The original video is two years old already. I actually wanted to upload this video far sooner, but the picture that I drew for in between the gameplay footage took quite a while to finish. In other words, it took so long to be uploaded because I was too lazy finishing this picture. xD;
Anyway, now this video is finally published, so I wish you a happy watching!
Some random info about this video:
• Sonic betting rings:
This is sort of an inside joke. In a story I'm writing, Sonic constantly bets 50 rings about pretty much anything. For example, that he can transform into Super without any Emeralds, that he can beat everyone in a Video Game contest, and so on.
• The robo-cicadas cry so loudly:
This IS an inside joke. xD;
In my high scool, we only had two computer rooms, and in one of them stood the school's server.
So, whenever we had lessons there, someone would say "I can't understand you! The server is so loud!"
Since this video was originally a project for school, including this line made a lot more sense. But I couldn't bring myself from deleting it out of here.
• Why DOES Knuckles talk like in a silent movie?:
Knuckles said it himself. He (or I) felt like it.
• The final battle against Robotnik:
I just felt like including it, so the two parts would be more similar to each other.
After all, Sonic defeated Robotnik in the first half, too.
• Tails being so snarky:
This was by accident. I didn't intend this, it just sort of happened after writing him in the Hydro City Zone.
• And finally, why did I choose the music that I did?:
If you haven't figured this out:
Whenever Knuckles appears, the boss music (or a remix of one) plays in the background.
Whenever Robotnik is on screen, a final boss song is playing.
And when Sonic and Tails are by themselves, a stage theme is playing.
