For a UK price of £399, this Sony smartphone is a little lacking compared with rivals like the OnePlus Nord and Poco F3 at times. The 60Hz screen seems sluggish vs the 90Hz competition, while the SD690 chipset isn't as powerful. However, the Sony Xperia 10 III does deliver water resistance and a triple lens camera setup with telephoto option. And so far, the gaming performance is admirable - even if there's no dedicated gamer feature.
Media fans will love the crisp, vivid AMOLED screen, while the audio smarts are strong. And here's hoping the camera is good for everyday snaps, as I'll be testing in my full review.
