Check out the first gameplay trailer for Sega-AM2's new arcade game Soul Reverse!

The game was announced in late November 2016 and Sega promised some more details would be revealed in the near future. Well, here we are. Of course, the text is all Japanese, but at least you can finally see what the game's like.

This video is a bit of a tutorial showing you all of the various moves from the game. You can use cards to summon souls to attack for you as special moves.

While most of us in the West thought the game look Dark Souls-inspired, it turns out to have a more arcade feel with timed stages and rhythm-based combat like Phantasy Star Online.

There's still no announcement for the game coming out worldwide or hitting another platform, but we'll keep you posted!
