Continuing in a series showing off Sierra's nearly-forgotten 16 Color Versions of original 256 color games, we have the next game in terms of release: Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers, v1.060. Look at the description of my King's Quest V 16 Color playthrough for a full description of why these versions exist.

Notes on the playthrough :

At 06:54 and 16:36 are edit points where the player would have to wait for several minutes for the timed events "Droid-o-Death Appears" and "Sequel Police Appears on Estros" to occur. This has been edited from the video, so that the aforementioned events appear to happen instantaneously. Hiding from the Droid-o-Death is necessary to obtain a perfect score. Having the Sequel Police appear on Estros is not necessary but provides a nice context for why a Sequel Policeman is dropped into the pterodactyl's nest immediately after Roger..

This playthrough is, to our knowledge, the only one that shows the full Sequel Police chase in the Galaxy Galleria Mall, including the encounter at the entrance (at 48:23) and the hiding from the Sequel Police in the Radio Shock store (at 49:00). Most people go straight from the arcade to the Skate-o-Rama, as the aforementioned entrance scene seen is extremely difficult to pass without getting zapped, and the Radio Shock scene no longer works at all in the CD-ROM version of the game.

The playthrough shows one intentional death due to the "travel to Ortega" easter egg.
